Flags of our Fathers

On the Reykjanes peninsula, close to the international airport and the capital Reykjavik, Clint Eastwood discovered perfect replica for the black sands of Iwo Jima for his epic film Flags of our Fathers and recreated one of the major USA battles in World War II and the only modern warfare in Iceland.
